Checked, compared, current.
Ivettly compares products sold in the UK using public information only. Specifications come from manufacturers. Prices come from UK retailers. Ratings come from review platforms. Every figure on every page links to where it came from and shows the date it was last checked.
That is the whole model. Ivettly does not test products, does not hold opinions about them, and does not tell anyone what to buy. It gathers what is already published, structures it so that like can be compared with like, and keeps it current.
What a comparison page contains
Each page starts from one product and sets it beside four to six comparable models in the same price band. A table lists the specifications that matter for that category, the current UK price at a named retailer, and the aggregate rating with its review count and source. A decision matrix shows where the models trade one quality against another. A short FAQ answers the questions most often asked about the category, each answer sourced.
Every page carries a "Last verified" date. Prices, availability and specifications are re-checked on a rolling schedule, and material changes are recorded on the page with the date they were found.
Where the figures come from
Specifications are taken from the manufacturer's own product page or specification sheet. Prices and stock are taken from the live retailer page linked next to each figure: Amazon UK, Currys, John Lewis, the brand's own UK store, and others named on the page. Ratings are quoted from Trustpilot, Amazon UK or a category-specific review platform, always with the number of reviews behind the score.
Where a figure cannot be sourced, it is left out. Ivettly does not estimate, infer or fill gaps.
What Ivettly does not do
Ivettly does not test products. Nothing on the site describes first-hand use, because there is none.
Ivettly does not rank by preference. Where a list is ordered, the page states the rule: highest aggregate rating, lowest verified price, widest height range. The reader can see how the order was reached and apply a different rule if they prefer.
Ivettly does not carry personal reviews, bylines or endorsements. The site is operated as a reference, not as a personality.
How Ivettly is funded
Ivettly earns a commission when a reader buys through a retailer link on the site. This is disclosed on every page that carries such links. Commission does not affect which products are compared, the figures shown, or the order in which they appear; those are set by the rules stated on each page. Retailers and manufacturers do not pay to be included and cannot pay to be excluded.
Categories
Ivettly covers consumer technology and household products where public specification, price and rating data exist: laptops and computing, home office furniture, audio, home appliances and similar categories. New categories are added as comparison pages are built for them.
